Devil's Advocate is another poster who no longer exists in the bowels of Castanet forums.

Ah, I searched using the name Merry posted - devil's Advocate.

If memory serves me correct, he got tired of arguing with SCL/static.

I find I am posting less and less these days. The frustration of trying to educate people who cannot think for themselves and get their news from One Source has been to tiresome to continue for the most part. Many suggest what this pandemic created is nothing but more divided seems to me to be true and I believe we are past the point of no return now where government has complete control and can do whatever they want and all anybody can do is whine about it in a forum and not do anything else. I feel bad for the Next Generation coming up.

Just checked his thread - looks like he's posting a new video every 3-4 days now.

I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

Thanks for that GordonH. I wonder where he is now, and why he never started posting again? I didn’t always agree with him, but I found most of his posts to be both interesting and informative. I wonder if he still lives in Kelowna? I know he used to say he was considering moving.

Onestep15 stopped posting 2012. He liked posting about how everyone was leaving Kelowna. I seem to recall he was battling cancer.

Onestop67 hasn't posted since 2019, but has come and gone over the years.

Captain Awesome suddenly quit when he hit 25000 posts. That was back in 2016. Too bad because he was always one of the most insightful posters. Also he and JLives, and I are the same age, so that's cool.

Haven't seen Homeownertoo in a while. I searched up his posts, and see he posted 4 times in 2020 and none in 2019, so he comes and goes.

Al Czervic was another really knowledgeable guy who would come and go from time to time. Looks like his last post was 2015.

I don't remember seeing Mr. Personality in a while... Yup, not since 2011.

I think he posted in the RIP thread about the death of a castanet poster.
