There are many hoverflies (below) that mimic bees or wasps, some sting while others do not, but all are useful pollinators.

Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

This pretty Oddball.
Did you know that astronauts and cosmonauts are not permitted to bring alcohol with them when in space?
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech ... bile=false
Alcohol is banned from space because ethanol can damage technology.
But inspectors regularly found caches of booze aboard Russian space stations.
One cosmonaut crash-dieted to stash cognac in his suit and maintain his weight.
NASA astronauts once joined their cosmonauts at a 'cognac party' aboard Mir.
Well, so much for my dreams.
Now the other question about what happens on a mixed crew still remains unanswered.
Did they do it?

Boeing uses potatoes to test their in-flight Wi-Fi, as they reflect and absorb the signals similarly to people. The project is called Synthetic Personnel Using Dialectic Substitution- or SPUDS.

^^^^^an amazing factoid that I truly found surprising, in a good way. What a great idea.
A huge tinfoil hat would be another great way of hiding them. Or build a massive replica 5g tower to hide an electrical station.

Houses are built without a back wall so hydro employees have easy access by using the concrete road running along the fence. City makes sure the "house" looks lived in - grass is cut, snow is shovelled, lights are turned on at different times, hydro employees park vehicles in the driveway.LANDM wrote:^^^^^an amazing factoid that I truly found surprising, in a good way.
