My comment was from 2020 and it has probably changed from then.

Here we go again . . . at 1:55 p.m. today the emergency alert will be sounded.

In the past, with at least three different phones and two different providers, I've not received the emergency alert. I have literally never received it. So I have a new phone now, an iPhone 13, and we'll see what happens. If I don't receive it today I will definitely take it personally! I will let you know!

For the first time ever . . . drum roll . . . I received the alert. Yes, on TV as well and we were watching Gunsmoke on MeTv.

Just before getting in the car I muted my phone. That did the job nicely.
