If they're checking for idiots who can't be bothered to secure a load properly or use equipment that isn't road worthy, then thats hardly a "Gestapo sting operation".

"Gestapo" is quickly becoming a synonym for "rules I don't like".

I'm a bit miffed they're charging for yard waste now :-X

We have to pay them to take it, then they compost it and sell it back to us. I've stopped buying their compost - would rather buy from Art Knapps or somesuch.
I haven't failed until I quit.

I thought that was hilarious last time we went. We get more yard waste than fits in the bin at my home. So I pile it into my trailer, haul it with my gas, unload it myself into a pile, and then I have to pay for them to let it turn into compost?!

Might just burn it next time, that's free!

Well, I dont mind reckless speeders getting pulled-over either - but I still appreciate a warning flash of high beams telling me a shakedown trap is just around the corner.

Consider this a friendly warning flash to get yer **** together before heading out there - that's all.

This is interesting, on one hand you have people :cuss: and complaining about the landfill.... on the other hand you have people :cuss: and complaining about people dumping out in bush.

:sunshine: and
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

Not if you get ticketed for illegal burning in the city.
My Wife asked me if I knew what her favorite flower was?
Apparently "Robin Hood All Purpose" was the wrong answer!

Sorry but where do you think they get it from?
