The smaller city thing was one of the main reasons I moved to Kelowna from Vancouver, but after a decade of growth that lost its appeal. When opportunity came I moved to an even smaller city and discovered the smaller community benefits I had been looking for in Kelowna. Kelowna and the OK Valley isn't the be-all, end-all of this big and beautiful province.

Same here. People complain about the rain over there quite a bit, but the temperature is much more mild year-round.
