What happened to the Deer?

Post by Mrmarvingardens »

Just the bear facts please.
Last year in my Bankhead neighbourhood, residents were visited by many as 5 deer at a time. All shapes and ages.being vegetarians, they enjoyed munching on the Junipers, tomato blossoms and tulips, to the horror of some residents
This year, maybe one or two year olds.
Notice also a lack of birds of all species.
Crows, songbirds, with the odd magpie seem at a minimum
Nature changing? Or is there an anti wildlife cabal doing its work?

You've uncovered a dark conspiracy. Don't post more or "they" will come to silence you. :130:

j/k - suspect it's just coincidence combined with effects from a dryer than normal spring.

The Bears chased them away...

Should be "bare" facts.

I might look normal but believe me, I talk to animals and wait for them to reply.

Roadkill?

As for birds and bears, lots around our neighbourhood. Had a bear walking down the street this afternoon.
