Actually, Paul is a good name.

Having 2 boys of my own, I had a few names on reserve. I like...

You should use the name in a sentence to see how it sounds.
Like the name Ace, another cool one.

"Get me a beer Ace"
"No, that's the handle. The other end is for hitting the nail Ace"
