Jesus, son of God, whose original name was Horus, sun of God, was originally created for people who were unable to believe in a God that they could relate to in a human sence. So religious leaders created an idol that they claimed "fit into the rules". He man actually exist under many names, but that really doesn't afect me. Why?

I deal with God directly. I don't need images to follow or forgivness for sins I didn't commit. In my long lifetime I can recall at least 4 times where I have recieved direct communication from God.
Why me, you ask? Why not! When I asked for guidance at a critical time in my life, I received it. You only need to have an open mind and listen. Then believe what you heard.

Some of you may have been given my first message also, but didn't "HEAR" it. Not long after my mother had died, when I was a pre-teen, I was sitting in church with my family. I felt a great surge of energy much like a combined hot flash and adrenaline rush. The message came clearly and instantly, not a series of words. " You are not meant to be here, you must go out and find your own way." It took 35 years to realize it was the journey that matters, not the destination. We all will get HOME, soon enough.

From the majority of posts in here it is evident to me the reasons this world is in such a mess !!. Statements of disrespect and ridicule of the Son of man ,the saviour and the one hope the world has to overcome the depravity that is evident in most of the contributors in here !!. Still there is hope in prayer for you !

Does Jesus go by the handle pj57 per chance? You go directly to God and don't commit sins - impressive. Although, I do think your a counterfeit because I would assume someone who is perfect would not spell "forgiveness" wrong. :runforlife:

I agree with 'takin it easy' - religion is the root of most of the evil in the world.
Having 'faith' in a 'god' without tangible evidence is blind faith. To believe, you need to be bind to the truth and give up your freedom to question everything - or else you will be punished in some made-up pergatory.

I have to agree with maxx. Look at what this Christian man from Kamloops was doing in Africa. Because of his religious convictions he was trying to help feed and clothe poor orphans. It doesn't get more evil than that. It is a good thing they bumped him off before he could go more evil. [sarcasm off]

Sorry, I guess I should have expanded my post.
This blogechoes much of what the CBC story stated.
"Jiri went through some troubles himself and God turned his life around and changed him. He had a real passion for children and do something really good with his life," Aldoff said in a telephone interview Thursday.
Hence the reason he joined the aid organization - to help those children most in need.

Hehehe, I saw a t-shirt I wanted so badly... If was a picture of jesus crouched behind a bush. The caption read "If I have to find Jesus, does that mean he's hiding?"
