Thor, if you don't believe in the mighty Thor, you are an athiest.

As a devout pastafarian who has been touched by His noodly appendage (Iwontsaywhere), I almost resent that you might call me an atheist just because I don't worship Thor or Ra.

See, I always thought "atheism" was a disbelief in any God, not one or the other.
How can you be an atheist while still believing in any God? This is stupid.

I think it means it is the same mindset involved with not believing in Thor as it is not believing in the Christian god or any other. For me, simply not enough evidence to support the existance of any of them.

Ok, but it's like saying that because I think Mariah Carey is crazy, I'm a racist.
She is of a different race and I think she's looney toons. Even if I say, "I believe a lot of people of other races are perfectly sane" with or without any actual proof, I'm still a racist.
I'm not arguing for religion or belief here, I'm arguing against misuse of language to prove a point that really doesn't need to be proven.

I believe in the Spirit of Feelings, The Spirit of Innocence, The Spirit of understanding and the spirit of Wisdom, In Mother Earth and the Universe. 'Does this make me an Atheist?

Re: We are all atheists
Not at all Mr.,
Due to an accident of birth, I am surrounded by people who believe in the cristo/judean god.
Had I been born in another country, I might be surrounded by people who believe in allah.
And born in another time Ra or Thor or one of many others.
So the semantic argument is that if you don't believe in Thor you are an athiest. True in the real sense of the word, but kind of a flip argument, used in fun.

So you think innocence, understanding, wisdom, earth, and the the universe all have spirits?
What do these spirits do? Do they act independantly? Do they speak? Listen? what makes you believe what you believe? ?

Not even money, which seems to be a god that many of the Christians pray to.

You would know a lot about antagonism... You know, with the stuff about the RCMP being a street gang and all in your signature.
