Spiritual dream interpretation
I had a family member who recently had a dream of being visited by a deceased family member. When the member left, they went eastward across a body of water. Is there any significance to the spirit going east or across the water?
So I love the Okanagan but it's a place best enjoyed from atop a very large pile of $100 bills. - Spocky

Re: Spiritual dream interpretation
How was their direction of travel determined, i.e. east? Was the deceased family member originally an immigrant from the east(or west)?

Re: Spiritual dream interpretation
Well I dreamed I saw the knights in armor coming
Sayin' something about a queen
There were peasants singing and drummers drumming
And the archer split the tree
There was a fanfare blowing to the sun
There was floating on the breeze
Look at Mother Nature on the run
In the twenty-first century
Look at Mother Nature on the run
In the twenty-first century
I was lying in a burned out basement
With the full moon in my eyes
I was hoping for replacement
When the sun burst through the sky
There was a band playing in my head
And I felt like I could cry
I was thinking about what a friend had said
I was hoping it was a lie
Thinking about what a friend had said
I was hoping it was a lie
I dreamed I saw the silver spaceships flying
In the yellow haze of the sun
There were children crying and colors flying
All around the chosen ones
All in a dream, all in a dream
The loading had begun
Flying Mother Nature's silver seed
To a new home in the sun
Flying Mother Nature's silver seed
To a new home
Sayin' something about a queen
There were peasants singing and drummers drumming
And the archer split the tree
There was a fanfare blowing to the sun
There was floating on the breeze
Look at Mother Nature on the run

Re: Spiritual dream interpretation
In all seriousness though. My wife does have real spiritual dreams complete with interpretations. It kinda scares me. No, I will not elaborate further here.

Re: Spiritual dream interpretation
Sure. Her dreams are hers to share. I get that. But could you explain what a "real spiritual dream" is ? And do you mean that her dream includes the interpretations?
I guess I don't now how we'd know that a dream was spiritual or not. If I had a dream that a frog wearing a mask was flying a soup bowl around the world series while holding a cricket mallet, should I be thinking this is spiritual? Or is it completely in our imagination that there is something meaningful to be scraped from a dream?
I don't mean to pick fun at people who do find deep meaning in dreams. I just don't understand it at all, and want to better understand how one can conclude that there is meaning where I find nothing.

Re: Spiritual dream interpretation
Some people believe in Spirit guides that help them with dream interpretations, not really speaking for anyone just a possible connection.
