Tomorrow is Sunday, are there any churches that sing hymns

Is there a god? What is the meaning of life?

Tomorrow is Sunday, are there any churches that sing hymns

Post by two_shoes1mit »

I am looking for a church in the Kelowna area that sings hymns from a hymn book, as opposed the the contemporary music.
Any suggestions?

Try the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.

Any particular flavour of church?

I would like to point out that, technically, 'churches' don't sing hymns. The people in the churches may sing hymns, but churches themselves do not. (If they did, there might be more people going.)
You cannot reason someone out of a position that they did not use reason to arrive at.

I don't know about that (going to see singing churches I mean). I think that would be real scary.

I think Catholic churches use the traditional hymn book approach, rather than having a house band playing contemporary worship songs. St. Charles Garnier on Benvoulin Rd (not Benvoulin Heritage Church) is the one I can vouch for personally in this department.
When someone says they pay taxes, you know they're about to be an ******e.
