The Bible... literally?
I've met a few Christians who more or less ascribe to the position that the bible is more or less a book of myths and shouldn't be taken literally (especially Genesis). On one hand I can understand that position in that they don't have to defend things that are ridiculous like the flood or things that are immoral like slavery. On the other hand there isn't a good theological reason to have this position.
On the other extreme there are people who claim to be biblical literalists. This is a more fundamentalist position with young earth creationists and people believing we're in 'the end times' claiming to be literalists. I've yet to meet a true literalist since taking a true literal position someone would have to say that the snake in the garden of eden is just an snake, not satan. Or the in Revelations they would have to believe in an actual 7 headed dragon, not it being a symbol of the EU (or whatever the flavour of the week is).
I guess most Christians fall between these 2 positions. My question for Christians is how do you know when to take the bible literally and when not to?

The Bible is the history and future of the Israelite peoples.

Queen Elizabeth II is blood relative of Jacob and King David. All Irish, Scottish and English Kings and queens have been crowned on the Stone of Scone since 600BC.

What movie did they get this info from? PS there are no records to prove that anywhere.

Here tryscotty, I looked this up for you. It may help you see the connections. There is no movie about this. Most books I read about the Royal Bloodlines are in very old books. If you do want to see a movie where they mention the Stone of Scone go see the movie "The Kings Speech". It's made in England and not in Hollywood. Like I said before every King or Queen of Ireland, Scotland and England has been Crowned on it since 600BC.tryscotty wrote:What movie did they get this info from? As for no records you must know something about something and then research it.tryscotty wrote:What movie did they get this info from? Your referring to bloodlines of Jesus? The temple was destroyed in the first century by the Romans. All the records were in it. That's history. Everything else is made up history.

Maybe post something so we could examine. That could be made up too? What Temple are you talking about?tryscotty wrote:Your referring to bloodlines of Jesus? The temple was destroyed in the first century by the Romans. All the records were in it. That's history. Everything else is made up history.

That would be the Temple in Jerusalem where all the records of the descendants of Israel were kept. They were destroyed completely. That is one reason the Jews could never prove the Messiahs bloodline after that. Either Jesus was the Messiah or there wont be one. Those records were vital for the priesthood and genealogy of the nation. All creditable historians that comment about that time are in 100% agreement. Others may try to comment but some also deny the Holocaust happened too. There are fools born everyday.averagejoe wrote:

If the records were destroyed as you say then they still had would have had verbal history that they could have worked on right away.tryscotty wrote:Your referring to bloodlines of Jesus? Here is a reposting of the recorded history of the Royal British bloodlines. Maybe have a look at it. Could you provid that info I had asked you regarding the destruction of that temple by the Romans.

Re: The Bible... literally?
Tryscotty, I have read lots about the Israelites Royal British Bloodlines on different websites. So I don't think you quite right on the 100% agreement comment. As a matter of fact, many crest, symbols of Ancient Israel, Standards are in many of the different symbols of most European nations. Harp of David symbol of Ireland, Unicorn and Lion of England, Star of David in the Irish Coat of Arms, Scotlands Coat of Arms 2 unicorns and the red Lion, ect....I have a whole book on Ancient Israel symbols. I could identify the different symbols of each of the 12 tribes in other European Coats of Arms.tryscotty wrote:That would be the Temple in Jerusalem where all the records of the descendants of Israel were kept. Re: The Bible... literally?
Here tryscotty is the story how when Israel went into Babylon capitivity. The Prophit Jeremiah fled to Ireland in 600 BC with the Stone of Destiny, possible the Ark of the Covent, Davids Harp and possible the Ancient Sceptre of Israel. And the most important part of what Jeremiah brought with him was Tea Tephi. Daughter of Zedekiah King of Israel and direct Desendant of King David. She married in Ireland to start the bloodline the British Isles. Have a read...

Did they have DNA tests ? There's no proof at all. The records were in the Temple in Jerusalem destroyed by the Romans in 70ce. Everything else is conspiracy theories.

I'm sorry you can't find what your claiming. I really like to read something? I don't think you have even read anything I posted. Like why is a 3,600 year old Stone built into the British Coronation Throne? Like your bigger than the Royal Family?tryscotty wrote:Did they have DNA tests ? There's no proof at all.
