There's probably no god.

Is there a god? What is the meaning of life?

Hmmm...

That answers nothing...

My posts exist because of your posts and those of others here. The bottom line is that we are all interacting and none here are right or wrong.

You can't knuckle me under and this obviously frustrating to you.

I'll pray for the soul residing here as Mr. Personality; that it may find inner peace, an attitude of gratitude and the simple joy of living and letting live...

Haha, oh we do think highly of ourselves, don't we.

I have all those things, so I wouldn't bother praying for that.
Maybe ask if I can have a new car, or a lottery win.

Better yet, pray to God that he fix the world economy. I'm sure he just needs one more person to ask him and then he'll do it!

Wow!!

A new car AND a lottery win??

How will the vain desire for a mechanical contraption and chasing after false hope add spiritual substance to your life when your soul can already have the rewards without such idolatrous desires?

The world's economy will collapse as scheduled along with the rest of the false, idolatrous offerings of Babylon the Great.

I've made my preparations. Have you?

Let's read that again, shall we.

It's ok, sometimes it's tough to tell the difference between "or" and "and"...or is it "or" or "and"... anyway, easy mistake to make...I guess.

I don't know. But praying for it will yield the same results as praying for anything else.

No guessing required. It's semantics...

It's not semantics. It's basic language and comprehension skills that most learn in the first grade or earlier.

Hmmm...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semantics

Since you've written about praying to God to satisfy your your desire for a new car and/or a lottery win in the same sentence it is batting semantics as to what the grammatical connectors used describe the content of the sentence and what the sentence's intention can be viewed and defined as.

By once again focusing on a silly semantical argument you have made an obvious dodge from the content of my earlier statement which focused on the vanity of being car proud and the hopelessness of dreaming about a lottery win as opposed to allowing God's will to happen as it may.

Thank you for proving my point regarding the need to learn and practice tolerance, grace, humility and manners...

Actually the difference between "and" and "or" is quite large and changes the meanings of sentences.

Hmmm...

Thank you for giving me permission to do what I already do, am in fact doing at this very minute and have done for many years...

Making a living by providing a remote sanctuary for the souls that seek the healing qualities of solitude and gain solace by living in direct communion with Gods' wild creations and experiencing directly, the wonder of it all.

It's not something that every entrapped soul can wrap their heads around but you'd be welcome regardless of the animus you feel...
