That video showing all the crying and bowing down to worship the Supreme Leader in North Korea kinda shows that an atheistic society can be just as religious as a theistic one.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_North_Korea
Traditionally Religion in North Korea primarily consists of Buddhism and Confucianism and to a lesser extent Korean shamanism and syncretic Chondogyo. Since the arrival of Europeans in the 18th century, there is a Christian minority. According to the Central Intelligence Agency, since the rise of the Workers' Party of Korea, free religious activities no longer exist as the government sponsors religious groups only to create an illusion of religious freedom. North Korea is officially an atheist state in which much of the population is nonreligious. North Korea sees organised religious activity as a potential challenge to the leadership.

I was helping out Oxl3y, who said:
Therefore, North Korea must be highly religious since it has been mentioned dozens of times on Castanet that religion is at the heart of what ails us.
The following North Korean pictures look similar to those of people who bow down towards Mecca. Looks pretty religious to me.

Is worshipping a man like a god not akin to religion, honestly with the power he held over their lives he was more real than any other incarnation of god they chose to believe in.

The bible predicted this stuff thousands of years ago. Pointing out that people are leaving the bibles teaching only strengthens the predictions .

Biblical prophesies are hocus pocus.
Too bad there wasn't an eleventh commandment: Thou shalt not be gullible.

If politicians are gullible, what are the people who vote them in?

That's what I meant. Politicians require people to be gullible so that they can exist.
(but I didn't mean to take this thread off topic)
