IED used on War Memorial with cross

Police: IED detonated at embattled war memorial in Oregon.

Peacenik atheist trying to blow up a memorial to Vietnam War vets. Only because it had a Cross on it.
Where is Homeland Security?

You are jumping to contusions. There is no mention of atheists or peaceniks. Could just as easily been Muslim terrorists. They are famous for destroying other religions symbols (not that I'm saying they did). There are many different religions represented in the US and Canada. Why do Christians assume it is always atheists? I'm not a Christian but you don't see me running around planting symbols of my beliefs all over the place.

From the article: the letter from the Freedom from Religion Foundation. (Atheist group)

This atheist organization has been hounding the local civic to take down the Memorial. It's obvious that they are egging on the local militant terrorist atheists to do something since it hasn't been taken down as of yet. This is perfect example of the War on Christianity by atheists (communist).

Didn't say they did it. And atheists are commies now? Interesting.

I believe in proven science. Atheists hold several key beliefs as a matter of faith. Weird. Ps , I'm just bored and posting so don't take it too seriously. But it does take faith to be an atheist.

And atheists are commies now? Interesting.[/quote]

What did you say Cliffy1:

Soviet policy toward religion was based on the ideology of Marxism-Leninism, which made atheism the official doctrine of the Soviet Union. Marxism-Leninism has consistently advocated the control, suppression, and the elimination of religion.[1]

Maybe do some research first before making comments like this one.

Are you sure? Largest country in the world adopted atheism as it's religion.

Officially, The USSR made atheism the stance of their communist regime. When the wall fell, they they loosened up on religion. The Russian Orthodox Church still holds too much power in Russia to shut them off. Same with China. Buddhism, Christianity, Muslims and others still flourish in this officially atheist regime. Most atheists I know are liberal or NDP (socialist, not communist).

Maybe read the 45 goals ( 1963 ) of the Communist Party U.S.A. and see how many of your atheist friends agree with them. Then ask yourself...are my atheist friends actually communists?
