Pope says god not afraid new things.

Is there a god? What is the meaning of life?

Pope says god not afraid new things.

How dumb is that statement????
For an omniscient being that can look forward and back through time there can be no new things.
What need does the aforesaid omniscient being have, for fear of any sort?
Who told the Pope this [email protected]???

I don't have a link, so not sure the context, but if I'm guessing you're referring to the one where the Pope was talking about the church being more accepting of new things (such as gays and divorced people). A lot of people say, "sorry, we need to maintain our traditions," to which the Pope said something along the lines of: God is not afraid of news things, so why are you? In the context of a religious institution, it doesn't sound that weird to me.

Pope Francis is trying to drag Catholics into the 21st century. He was a great choice for the role. He's doing his best to convince Catholics to join the 21st century on human rights while dealing with an archaic internal structure. I'm sure it's not easy but he shows love and humility every step of the way.
