My god beats your god.

Is there a god? What is the meaning of life?

My god beats your god.

Or how religions got their start.

My god from the dark side is more powerful than your god of the moon.
Last night my god took a big bite out of your god's moon.
Your god pleaded and cried, so my dark side god spat out the moon byte.

Is that why the moon turned blood red?

You bet,
I was watching the eclipse last night and thought of our ancestors trying to figure it all out.
Sitting in the dark watching the moon get a bite removed would have given ancient shaman lots of fright food, for keeping their tribe in line.

Blasphemy. That was just a moon period.

Actually most religions began from ancient Babylon. Nimrod and his Mother were the beginning of mother son worship. We see this in many of the worlds religions. (Catholics)News flash Mary's is not Gods mother. Nimrod would be so happy that you people still follow the crap he made up so to keep the people believing he was a god.

Sorry Hmm but religions started long before man came out of the caves, this is evidenced by the fact that tribes in the amazon that never had contact (at least for a very long time) yet had spirit worship and shaman.

While religious ideas and forms of worship are seen in remote isolated groups, that only proves that mankind has a built in spiritual side. I also believe that. I was referring to religious teachings and traditions that most religions around the world share and they originate in ancient babylon. Anyone can have theory's, but museums contain the physical evidence of the truthfulness of what I said. Mankinds religious journey is traceable, but sometimes people don't like where it leads.

What you say Hmmm is pretty well accurate, but the roots of religion started with people in "caves" trying figure things out and being led by chiefs and shaman. This may well have developed and become the "root" of many religions, but imo the religiosity began long before recorded history.
