The "left" hand path has never been the "right" path to very many people..

Ah, but... some people are in dire need of a boogeyman.
Trying to get spiritual nourishment from a two thousand year old book is like trying to suck milk from the breast of a woman who has been dead that long.

Are you suggesting that they arrived late and had to take what was left ??

Like Salem, Mass during their years of constant Halloween ?

There are two kinds of people in the world; those that need an external force to justify their existence and those who know who they are. The first category is the largest and those need a boogeyman to justify their belief in the unbelievable: good and evil; the great duality lie. There is no left hand verses right hand religions. They are all lies designed to placate and control the insecure. If they really believed that they were created in the image of god, they would not need all these neurotic beliefs in demons and angels. If they truly believed in the omnipotence in their creator, they would realize that they are as omnipotent as this god. Where would religion be if people suddenly woke up to to who and what they really are? Where would humanity be?

Blasting, billowing, bursting forth
With the power of ten billion butterfly sneezes
Man with his flaming pyre
Has conquered the wayward breezes

Climbing to tranquility
Far above the cloud
Conceiving the heavens
Clear of misty shroud

Higher and higher
Now we've learned to play with fire
Go higher and higher and higher

Vast vision must improve our sight
Perhaps at last we'll see and end
To our homes endless blight
And the beginning of the free

Climb to tranquility
Finding its real worth
Conceiving the heavens
Florishing on earth

Higher and higher
Now we've learned to play with fire
Go higher and higher and higher
