So what your saying is that Roman's spread Christianity during their hay days! Uhhh so Cliffy1 was right when he stated that the Romans created Christianity to fill their pockets and control people and here I thought it was a myth?
Dang.....proven wrong again! :130:

Thanks for proving Cliffy1 right!!!

No, it was spread by missionaries. Paul was responsible for a lot of that. Others too. Ironically enough, in the year 300 when Rome married the state with the church, the spread slowed.

It shouldn't. It's right there in your name. Looney. Nutjob should be a compliment. Now that said, I was not calling you a looney. Not at all. You said something conspiracy theorists say, but you seem like a sensible person, so were probably just ill-informed. If you were a real conspiracy theorist, you would just double down when presented with facts, which seems to be what happens when I engage averagejoe. Sorry Joe, you are a nice guy and you aren't wrong about everything, but this eurocentric view of the bible is not held by any sane scholars.

Thank you for your condescending reply. You obviously feel that you yourself are some sort of elite intellectual roaming the board dispensing wisdom from on high to all the "average joes". You seem incapable of putting together any coherent arguments to support your position on any number of issues but that in no way stops you from opining on them and when challenged you resort to name calling. It has been my observation that when someone resorts to name calling it is because they are very insecure about their position on an issue.

What joy you brought to me when you wrote that I was just "ill informed".Your supreme beneficence is matched only by your ego. Your fount of wisdom seems to be endless and all encompassing...nimbly jumping from forum to forum to educate the great unwashed that you allow to share this site at their peril should their post capture your baleful eye. However do you find a hat large enough to adequately protect that priceless factory of giberish.

I enjoy a good battle of wits but it loses its flavour when you realize that your opponent is unarmed as in your case.

Of course Republican Jesus voted for Trump. Republican Jesus is a pretty cool guy he drills oil and packs an AR15.
So to answer the ridiculous question posed in the thread title. Yes Jesus not only would vote Trump. He did vote Trump.

Yep Trump was hand picked by God to make America great again. .

I do find it interesting that republican Jesus apparently is fed up with Catholics from Mexico

No apology is necessary. You don't have the power to offend me...that power is reserved for people I respect. Your pledge to "try to be more kind moving forward" is neither wanted or appreciated. It as usual smacks of condescension and implies that you have the wherewithal ,if you choose, to make me think you are being unkind. My opinion is that you have neithe the ability or acuity to bestow such a gift of kindness on me from on high .In the spirit of self awareness I urge you to look up the definition of megalomania.

Whatevers, man. Anyway, back to Trump and Jesus. Joe says Jesus was white, and since most white people voted for Trump, clearly Jesus would have voted for Trump.

Am i right, Averagejoe?

You may want to take your own advice.

As for Yeshua supporting the Orange Buffoon, I suspect that the only decision he would agree with is the decision to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem. Am Israel Chai (the people of Israel live)!

I’m guessing Trump and his supporters will say this was immaculate conception and it’s the second coming.

I really hope this woman is Mexican.
