I want to adopt an olive tree in the "Holy" land

Is there a god? What is the meaning of life?

I want to adopt an olive tree in the "Holy" land

Perry Stone (Televangelist) says "Our generation has a unique opportunity to be used by God like never before; we have an opportunity to take root in the land of Israel and restore the King’s oil.

For your gift of $159.00 you get your name on one olive tree and a certificate of authenticty. Wow - good deal.

For millennia, the olive tree has been an extremely important component of Jewish and Israeli culture. Thus, it is not surprising that it has become symbolic of many important Jewish values and stories. The olive tree is mentioned frequently in the Bible with regard to fruitfulness, health and blessings.

Israel accused of 'war crime' over bulldozing of Palestinian olive groves

Do you think it's worth it to pay $159 to adopt an olive tree in the "Holy" land?
Or would it be better to send that money to the families of the 3,000 Palestinians that were slaughtered by Israel in 2014? ( in the "Holy" land)

Does this not speak for itself?

Here’s just a few of the ways we are seeing restoration through the planting of olive trees:

Creating jobs for Israeli immigrants returning to their land…
Boosting Israel’s economy through bountiful and ongoing harvests…
Generating revenue for various humanitarian aid projects, such as feeding and caring for underprivileged kids…
Showing peace and hope to soldiers working in some of the most dangerous and difficult areas along Israel’s border…
Producing abundant crops, oxygen, and rainfall—even in the dry lands of the Negev Desert…
And much, much more…

^ Anyone know what he means by authentic?

the paper you get is 'authentic' paper (not toilet paper)?

He also says he wants to plant 1,000,000 trees. He realizes most people can't do math
because he would need 10,000 acres of land to plant a million trees and that would cost something like
a $billion dollars. I don't think there's enough gullible Christians on earth to send him a $billion
dollars in return for an "authentic" piece of paper.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJ2z25Ejj0A&t=239s

Watch the video. it's really interesting. @ 3:59 - is the guy speaking in "authentic" tongues, or is that Italian?

anyone know? Because if it's not authentic tongues or Italian - he's going to hell.

I thought this did speak for itself. Provides many more opportunities in the future instead of a one time thing. Wouldn't you agree Thinktank? Then we can get to your certificate.

Where does he use the word "authentic"? It's not in your quote - or did you not read what you posted again.

So, Pals probably like olive trees too. Is that why Israel was accused of war crimes when they bulldozed
the olive trees of Palestinians?

So when Israel bulldozes the olive trees of Palestinians, do they make one or two suicide bombers?

Image
^ That's the bombers. Not sure if the 3,000 dead Palestinians were the result of suicide unless they
deliberately ran into the Israelis bombs.

But it's the"holy" land. So........ it's all good.

You forgot to answer the questions that you started. You do get sidetracked easily. If you googled "Certificate of Authenticity" you would understand where you were mistaken as well. Don't you think creating jobs would be a good thing?

So Israel the "holy" land, spends $hundreds of millions to bomb Gaza with "extreme firepower"
(as Norman Finkelstein described it)

creating 50% "UNemployment in Gaza

and Perry Stone, who might be faking his "speaking in tongues" (in fact I'm sure of it) in the video above
tells me "God" would like me to send him $159.00 so he could plant trees. Then he says he wants to plant
a million trees which would mean Christians would be sending Israel $159 million dollars just for the trees,
not including the land. He wants an orchard worth a $billion dollars.

For God. :smt045

Well if it's for God, I might consider it.

I'll pass as they are kind of ugly and I don't like olives either. It also looks like a scam to me.

It's not a scam. The oil made from those trees is holy, according to Perry Stone.

 This oil was prepared by a believing Israeli chemist according to the ancient art of the Biblical apothecary.

 This holy anointing oil has a unique connection with the healing anointing and the healing nature of our Lord Jesus. As it says in James 5:14,“Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.”
