"Faith" in the 21st Century?

Is there a god? What is the meaning of life?

Do we see the contradiction here?

You're lying. They were not exempt. Africa is not a continent full of weathy people. With so many small, poor, countries, they couldn't secure enough vaccines for their population. That's why they initially had such low vaccination rates.
Due in part to their lacking education, they've also had people like you telling them that the vaccine is dangerous, so now that it's available to them, many don't want it.
This doesn't speak to the efficacy or dangers associated with the vaccine. It only speaks to poverty, low education, and conspiracy theorists getting as much attention on the internet as science.
Thinktank wrote: Oct 5th, 2022, 6:06 am But Canadian babies, big pharma says, should get the vaxine to protect themselves because older people (grandparents) who look after them often get sick often.
A year ago we were being told the babies should get the vaxine to protect grandma, now they get it to be protected from grandma. That - is known as lying.
Multiple reasons for something is not an indication of a lie.

I'll leave this nonsense alone. But everyone lies, including you. Not much to gain from hating everyone.

Thinktank wrote: Oct 5th, 2022, 6:06 am USEFUL THING #9 - DON'T KILL!
Even the most disgusting people - like Trudeau, Freeland and Joly - know it's not nice to kill people. Yet, they just
can't help grinning as they hand out $2 billion dollars that will be used to kill Russians, and a lot more Ukrainians.
They just can't help themselves. Jesus said about Trudeau, Freeland and Joly "Forgive them because they know not what they do."
/sigh... Judgemental Jesus spoke of people born thousands of years after his death? More with your lies. I understand you hate these people. The amount of hate you have and amount of lying you do isn't atypical from Christians.. So I guess you're being a good one.

I'm pretty sure that thinktank is not a Christian (although his rants are so incoherent and contradictory that I can't really be sure).

If you have to be persuaded reminded bullied pressured bribed incentivized, lied to, guilt tripped, coerced, socially shamed, censored, threatened, paid, punished and criminalized, to gain your compliance- the thing is no good

Maybe, maybe not. He does talk about how he hates organized religion, but he's a bit of an engima isn't he? I think he's Christian, but based on some of his comments, sometimes, you couldn't tell.

the problem is - I don't know what Q-Anon is so that's why I'm not sure exactly what this thread is about.
occasional thoughts wrote: Jan 29th, 2021, 10:44 pm Faith has been grappling with science for a long time.
How can faith be grappling with science when everyone is different, and every person in every church disagrees with everyone else, and every scientist disagrees with every other scientist - as we saw recently when thousands of doctors told thousands of other doctors they are full of :cuss: for pushing (injecting) something weird on the gullible faithful religious people, and the foolish atheist people - equally?

That has not been my observation rather the opposite.
