I know religious fraud people. I also know religious decent people.

^ That's Jim Jones. Start @ :40 and stop the video @ 1:04. Look at Jim Jones' face. Remember that type of face.
He is just too happy, fleecing the people.

But,

There's nothing wrong with allowing churches not to pay taxes.
There's nothing wrong with churches, as long as people know how it works.
The preacher is probably not as awesome as he seems.
The people in church are not very great either.

If you want to bash churches, you should start bashing the sale of alcohol first - and no one wants to do that.

The last thing anyone needs is a woman preacher - or any preacher - getting the people to speak in tongues.

..
If you have to be persuaded reminded bullied pressured bribed incentivized, lied to, guilt tripped, coerced, socially shamed, censored, threatened, paid, punished and criminalized, to gain your compliance- the thing is no good

To paint all churches and the religious teachings that they provide with one wide brush is very narrow minded.

Interesting thought. I grew up in church and I know that painting with enormous brushes is what all churches do. Teaching in a church that someone who gets a vaccine is "of the devil" or "going to hell" or those good honest people who voted for Trudeau are an "enemy of the country". Those sentiments are micro minded and are enough to make you sick.

The fact is that a "church" is essentially a small/medium business that doesn't pay taxes. And during the pandemic, they suffered because of the mandates. Which meant that revenues went down. Sure there were people who gave tithes like clockwork - but that isn't the cash flow needed to get out of the country to "missionaries".

I am disgusted with how the church beside Parkinson Rec acted during the pandemic. They came across as entitled. Glad they still have to pay the fines.
