Sure miss this place. Skied Last Mountain as kid in the 70’s.
Not sure you can hike or ride the actual mountain as there are no trespassing signs and people residing there.
Unless of course you’re friends with the residents.

there are ways in - but it is private property

it was crap and always will be. There are four other mountains lining the valley with way better skiing

Anyway...
Had a great time up there as a kid. Was lucky enough to introduce my little kiddies to skiing up there.
Lots of great memories.⛷

Since some (not all) skiers & snowboarders like to go out of bounds, it's not surprising some people would trespass.

Just how much is private property? Sure the village buildings I guess but then mountain itself? Crown lease? Private property lines are where?

Not sure of the date of this plan but, at the bottom of the site it reads copyright 2018 http://crystalresort.ca/

ETA. Heard people talking about it this morning at the dentists so looked for it online.

ya that's an updated site from when I last looked sometime last year. Big plans for that area I hope they can make it happen.

Have had this area on my radar for a while now. If crown land, recreational tenure rules do apply. No working machines = accessible to public, if not tresspassing through private property to gain access to said tenure.

A quick Google search of Crown Land West Kelowna lead me down a pretty close path, but haven't found anything decisive.

Anybody care to chime in?
