The drive-in in Enderby is new. It was built long after all the others were gone.
“New” might be considered a bit subjective. It was 11 years old at the time this story was done in 2012:

Okay so 3 in BC
Enderby
Langley/Aldergrove
Prince George (of course if it's drag race night could be hard to hear the movie. lol)
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

Re: You know you're really from Kelowna when . . .
I have a large BC Assessment Authority aerial photo of Kelowna from 1985. The population then was about 65,000. North Glenmore was all orchards at that time, with the exception of 2 or 3 neighbourhoods. The Dilworth Mountain development appeared to just be getting underway. And obviously no Waterfront Park or Grand Hotel yet. Rutland hasn't changed very much, with the exception of the northeast area (Sumac, Klassen, Friesen, etc). Unfortunately the Airport area, Westside, Black Mountain, and most of Lower Mission are not included in it.
Its a detailed image, you can even see which roads were 4 lanes back then. All of Harvey/97, Bernard from Water to Richter, Gordon from Bernard to Springfield, and Cooper Road by the mall. Thats IT! Harvey was also 6 lanes from Abbott to Gordon. The pavement along there looks new in the photo, so probably had just had been widened. Highway 33, Benvoulin, Spall, Springfield, KLO, Glenmore, and the rest of Gordon were all only 2 lanes.
There are 43 traffic signals I can count in the image. I can tell the signals by the parallel crosswalk lines across the road. Again, parts of town are cut off, so probably there were also signals on Hwy 97 at the airport and at Lakeshore/Dehart. Nowadays, Kelowna has over 130 traffic signals.

Actually, it was there before then. The trio in the article bought it in the early 2000s. IIRC, it was originally opened in the mid-late 90s.

…………..you accept or do not care that the current Kelowna city council with a COMBINED IQ of maybe 100, votes themselves a healthy pay raise and they can continue on this road of no accountability to the detriment of Kelowna on so many levels.

In regards to inland natural gas on Spall. It was beside the house with the logging trucks. I know because I lived in that house!

Someone showed me a picture of a postcard featuring Buffalo Bill’s Steakhouse. Was it in the Stetson Village?

Man that was a while ago. SCHNEIDERS lived there, I think.
It was around the time Spall Rd finally crossed the RR track.
