Okanagan Lake water temperature
I have misplaced a great site that provided daily water temperature data from Okanagan Lake. I have searched the web extensively, however no luck :-( Does anyone have this site bookmarked?

This site did provide the lake temperature although they've been having some technical issues lately.

Water temperature and levels etc. available for pretty much any river or lake in Canada.

Thanks for the links, however they're not the one I was looking for. The one I located last year provided daily water temperature. If I locate it, I will post

...did you click through the steps in the link django posted above?...it's a few steps, but it does show real time temperatures for Okanagan Lake...it opens on the primary water level graph, but if you scroll down slightly to the primary and secondary parameters, there's a drop down window for water level and water temperature...click temperature and then the "apply settings" tab lower right, and it will display current and recent temps...
...currently showing just below 2°C...

Re: Okanagan Lake water temperature
There are only three lakes in BC that record water temperature: Okanagan, Atlin, and Williston. There are a number of rivers that record temperature. Interestingly, the water temperature lags the flow in the river by about a week. Why is this?

Thanks for the clarification Swoop! I'm not sure how I missed this.
Not the site I had, but it is what I was looking for! Actually provides more data points than what I had before. Thanks again for providing the link Django

Yes. Thanks. It used to be on the "cross the lake swim" site but now it's gone. I will use this site a lot in the late spring/early summer to keep an eye on water temp.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

If you go to the Weather page on Castanet, you can see the lake level and temp info there. https://www.castanet.net/weather/Kelowna

That's kinda weird - posting something almost a year after it was answered. I check Castanet before I decide to go for a swim at this time of year.

on a more relevant note. two days ago it was 15. today it was 11. Amazing what a could strong wind does to mix up the water. Should make for a refreshing first swim tonight!

It wasn't that warm at the beginning of the month. Refreshing is the right word though.
