Thanks, Frisk!

I just saw this https://www.castanet.net/news/BC/435800 ... n-Okanagan

I noticed a good wind while I was hanging my laundry.

Just returned from taking the grandson for a short boat ride.

Will fizzle out like the last storm warnings?
Stay tuned.

It did fizzle, but we had some nice wind that made the temps more bearable - I'd call that a win. Plus, no lightning!

It's degrees COLDER in Kelowna than Fort Good Hope, which is WAY up in the NWT! Even Lytton (the current BC hotspot) is 3 degrees colder than the NWT.

So, I'm sorry, but if we're colder than the NWT, it's COLD!

PS. 35.5C in the central Yukon yesterday.

EDIT: Temperature at 2pm PST!

Was it ever!
First there was the thunder, then lightning then along came the wind and rain.
Rain was going sideways.
In minutes it cooled down from 30 to 19.

All really quite enjoyable.

In Vernon, we had hopes of same, very close and hot, compounded with smoke from Ellison fire.

Cloud cover helping to cool us down but I think clouds too high to release rain. We need it though

I liked the nice wind in Rutland this evening, I gather it was a bit stronger at the lake

There was a tiny bit of rain, but it just felt like spray.

Rain knocking on the door. Forecast gives it good odds to rain but I don't know.
