The rain was nice, I haven't seen a downpour like that in a while!

Lots of rain on the weekend, especially Saturday! And no place was as wet as Sparwood...

Our weather station recorded 30mm of rain Saturday night in Upper Mission.

Must have been small cells in the area, as Kelowna didn't record anything near that.

Mine recorded 8 mm, but a friend 3 km away had 24mm.

More nice weather coming for the summer, but I like this part...
but the heat won't be as "relentless" as previous years,... "The heat should break at times with a few periods of cooler and unsettled weather,"

Just remember this is being caused by El Nino.

Some highways almost always get snow in June. It's going to be a cool wet one for sure!

Northeastern BC could really use a pile of very wet snow.

It is chill out there. Not as bad as the year we got snow on the May Long weekend (not sure when that was, within the last 2 decades though). Honestly, I don't mind the break from the heat. The garden is doing okay, my pole beans are now taller than I am!

Who knew I'd get to wear my favorite hoodie in the middle of June? :D
