I pulled out my cross country skis today for just the 2nd time all winter, and went for a ski in the field across from my house. Still about 8 inches of snow at 500m elevation in the north Okanagan.

Windy but warm enough to get the classic car out and started. Warm March is predicted so could very well insure it before the end of the month. Currently have the brake fluid drained and MC off. Car needed very heavy pedal pressure for the brakes to sort of work.
Changing the brake compensator as well. Setting up the acorn nut on the brake booster should help things as well.

Found a decent mouse nest in the car after catching 2 in the car and two just outside the car. Buggers.

Very warm today. 2005 was a 13.5C. Kelowna was only 11.1C today.

P.S. It's interesting that yesterday's provincial extremes were Nelson and Fort Nelson...

Warm weather must be on its way. Walked the dogs over the dam in Penticton and 4 of 5 gates were open and the channel was up quite a bit from a few days ago. Time to drain the lake I guess.

Ski reports say the local ski hills have a pretty good base, likely half of what they are claiming but still pretty good.

T-shirt and light sweater kind of day today. No socks in the crocs.
