It is definitely not nice weather out there. It is predicted weather however.

I have never seen a Spring this dry. In 2004 we had torrential rain, I know because I was new to this house and was anxious to get gardening. But could not for a long time due to unrelenting rainfall. Zip to 2021 and omigod, I am rationing was is left in the rainbarrels from the last meager rainfall. They are completely empty now. IF we get rainfall, I hope to fill them all of course.

I have pulled out the hoses, pretty early yet but there you have it.

I know right? Ours are out but haven't hooked them up yet.

And to add insult to injury, the deer are back. 2020 they left the front tulips alone. Not this year, grazed down to almost nothing.

The forecast is always wrong by a couple degrees on the cold side, especially on sunny days. It will be more like 8 degrees.
