Not quite yet. Broken cloud, -2C in Penticton right now.
Terrific x-country up at Chute Lake yesterday. Sunny which reigned havoc on the wax choice.

Currently 164C in Vernon!!!! HELP!!!!

This map shows the highs from the past 24 hours. 164C at the Vernon Science Centre. If you disagree, then you are anti-Science.

How is the snow cap out there this year? Any spring melt concerns?

We have little here in YEG in terms of snow cover, 2nd least in last decade I believe. Hoping golf courses open early, when are you guys usually open out there for golf?

In all my years of looking at snow pack I have never seen it so close to the average as this year. Usually you have one area of the province way above average (say like 140% of normal) and another area like 50% of normal. This year everyone is close to 100% of normal. The Okanagan is a little above normal, though by March 1st, that could change.

While all of us in lower elevations are getting rain and warm temperatures, those who live at 4000 ft are getting HAMMERED with snow, especially in the snow belt areas like Wells-Barkerville...
