I heard they'll be opening a Subway location there.

It has been purchased by a developer who wants to do a new commercial building. It would be pretty hard to build around that tree. But I agree, it is beautiful. It was one of the features that made the Minstrel patio so wonderful in the summer.

Sad its closing and being developed. I got married at the minstrel, under the big Sycamore. Hope the tree survives its move to the neighbors pasture.

I have always dreamed of buying that place and turning it into my own little business. Sad to hear the lot is going to get developed... I hope the tree stays.

When I was a kid in the 80s that was called the Gauthier Inn or something weird and then a few other things after that, Maxs, Sammys, Little Texas, The Bridge.....im sure I'm missing one or two.
