Lol - the look of Kelowna’s new “high society”.
Anyone who helped fund this guy and his “start-up business” should be locked up. Scummy investor types are just as responsible
and should be held accountable. Hopefully they get the full story and learn about all of the people who funded this guy over the years. This guy likely secured a “loan” or “investment” from someone between the time he got out of prison the first time and getting busted a second time. The RCMP need to find the shark and/or whale that funded him.
Identifying the cowardly whale that helped this guy is necessary to protect our community. Maybe Leslie will spill the beans to the RCMP and identify the whale that funded him.

Do you think a shark got him, or did a “white collar” whale have anything to do with it. Must feel like a lamb among the wolves.

Maybe. As a lamb among wolves, who knows. He possibly has evidence about the whale that funded him.

Re: No Bail for Fentynal Charges
All this "he should be put in jail for life", "charged with murder", "anyone charged with fentanyl possession shouldn't get bail"
Turns out he plead guilty, then found out the "stuff" he was selling was mostly binder and caffeine, hardly any fentanyl.
So who did he kill ?
Like saying a gun can kill, so anyone found in possession of a gun should be charged with murder.
Really ?
Oh and no bail. You are aware that presentence incarceration is subject to "enhanced credit". At the very least each day in custody before sentencing will be one less day they serve and likely will be 1.5 days for each day.
So waits a year for trial in custody is given three years. Is given 18 months enhanced credit towards the 36 month sentence, then must be released on Statutory Release after 2/3 so another 6 months and he's out. 50% off a sentence is one heck of a "Punishment".
This guy was in pre-trial custody. He pleads guilty to production of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking and the judge Cathaline Heinrichs lets him out to get his affairs in order before going to jail !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think Cathaline should rethink her calling. May be better suited to run a preschool, or day care. (no offense to anyone running a day care)
Personally (the topic is "Bail", [release]) The government should have written the law such that if a person doesn't qualify for release, they have a history of "getting their affairs in order" and disappearing, or are dangerous, or whatever. They get no credit what so ever. No one day for one day, zippo, zero, nothing. They are in presentence custody because they deserve to be.
Oh and Cathaline ???? Most times even when someone has qualified for pre-trial release, many times when they plead guilty and are facing prison, the release is cancelled and they remain in jail until sentencing, cuz some of them "get their affairs in order", and are never seen again.

If he’s never seen again, will the authorities still pursue any sharks, lambs or whales (white collar or otherwise) that funded him?
Will his girlfriend have to go to jail rather than having the charges dropped against her since he didn’t show up for sentencing?

For the life of me I have never been able to figure this out and it's one of my pet peeves.....credit should be 1 for 1, no more, no less. Why should he get credit for more time than he served? Bull puckies....

There should be no credit for pre-sentence incarceration. If someone is not to be trusted free, then why should there be any deal.
I agree with you that anything more than 1 for 1 is completely ludicrous, but even 1 for 1 is wrong.
It's a good deterrent to never be a no show for court. Always show up for court, because if you are ever charged again, you may not get out of jail until your trial is finished. If they are keeping someone in because they are dangerous, it speaks for itself.

Since the accused is MIA, does this mean they will go ahead with charges with his co-accused/girlfriend?
Will the girlfriend spill the beans about the whale, or is this a case where we have another person on the lamb?
