Funny that. It has entrances from both Hwy 33 and Hollywood, and yet if you're going westbound on 33 you have to make a left at the light, then another left on a fairly busy road in Hollywood. That, coupled with the fact that it is an island unto itself really adds to the perception that it is in an inconvenient location.

Wonder what will go in there. Being it already has a drive thru and council has declared war on drive_thrus. So maybe a fast food place takes the building

AND....to further subsidize that proposal, they could use the drive through as a MJ dispensary.

New Rutland Transit Exchange the usual, someone sitting behind their desk designing bus routes who has never used the system. Instead of stopping in front of Plaza 33, where grocery store, drug store are located it is closer to go to liquor store. I can see a downturn in some Plaza 33 business for those without vehicles. :-X

So... With your years of planning kniowledge and skill (Or as you said, you ride busses) you have decided to put a bus exchange either directly on Highway 33, or maybe wiped out literally all of Plaza 33's parking for the two busses that blast by every half an hour? Unless.... are you planning on making plaza 33 a drive through? Looking at the map shows the liquor store you mentioned is really not too far away from the grocery store and drug store, literally across the highway.

Never played Sim City very well did you?
You have to keep an open mind until it is proven one way or the other. You just can't take the T.V. or internet word on it.

I never played Sim City well but probably played it more than some have used Public Transit.
IMO, one pull-out on Hwy 33 along the stretch of Plaza 33 would have been more useful and cost-effective than buying a park to build a road for 3 bus routes.

I hope this is allowed here, I apologize to admin if not.
Rutland Middle School could really use the communities support in advocating for a new school. The RMS PAC have started an online petition to send to the BC education minister Rob Fleming and premier John Horgan. For those who may not know the BC education ministry has had Rutland middle as a top priority for 10 years, without anything happening. The school is 70 years old and has many issues. RMS isn’t on the BC ministries 5 year plan for a replacement, by then the school will be 75 years old. If you attended RMS, it’s exactly the same; same windows, same doors, same heating, same floors, etc. If you’d like to show your support please sign the petition, if not that’s ok :D
