Re: Bicycle thieves.
Thanks Walter for posting it.
It was original paint that had been glossed up with clear. Hope they didnt repaint, but who knows
One painted rim, one chromed. Handlebars were very tarnished.
What is unique for around here is the curved fender stays, probably only one in town, chainguard and sprocket are not very common up here. Has a Western Flyer headbadge.
It belonged to a buddy when it was taken from south end of Richter a few weeks ago, if you see it or some of the parts, please let me know... It is easier to recognize than a lot of bikes.

Re: Bicycle thieves.
Dealt too many times with having a bike stolen including some quite expensive ones.
I have a fantasy about having a gun in my hand while catching a thief red handed stealing my bike. I wonder if I'd let him run or shoot him right away. That's how deeply angered I am at theft of personal property. Good thing I won't ever have a gun.

Funny. ^^ I think that all the time. I was able to live out my fantasy once in my life with a 12" mag light and a few car vandals.
I never slept so soundly as i did that night.

Re: Bicycle thieves.
Vandals... perhaps even worse than thieves. At least thieves are motivated by gain. What the heck motivates vandals?
Simply destruction; no personal gain outside of their twisted minds.
(Sorry for slightly off topic.)
