Why do they call him sugarplum?

It originated from the last LGBTS(I don't remember what other letters I'm omitting) Pride week and he dressed up in his frilly best, and adopted the Mayor Sugarplum moniker.

Dignity gets tossed out the same window as the bedpan when a man in a leadership role feels it pertinent to dress like a trans-zombie and call himself Mayor Sugarplum.

People really think that a mayor being ridiculed for supporting the LGBTQ community is entertaining? I find it highly offensive and it has nothing whatsoever to do with the weather warnings.

If only that old homophobic mayor were still running things, there probably wouldn't be weather warnings and those tap-dancing gays wouldn't be defiling our streets.

Well. Once again we see the pattern. Environment Canada had issued a forecast for high heat all week starting Sunday. This forecast had been in place up until yesterday. EC has now begun 'their usual manoeveur'. They have begun to dial back the pretending forecast. In fact, whereas Wednesday was previously 29 degrees and sun, in one day they have changed their 'minds' to cold and rainy. Perhaps their fake forecasts contribute to the fear mongering

I also recommend that EC's sister federal government department in charge of critical flood water measurements have their crack team of highly paid technicians create a website that crashes the one time a year it's actually needed...

Everything after 3 days is a crap shoot anyway. They only have a single day with cool weather, and the rest are hot. That cool day brings rain, so still not out of the woods, though not nearly hot enough to bring in the 200 year flood (it would have to be +35C for several days to cause that).

As far as the last predicted event of a 200 year flood, the forecast never called for warm temperatures, which is why I said from the very beginning that the mayor was on crack.
