Of course it is... But it's not at the "biblical" over flowing capacity that should have people running to the churches to repent their sins...

The rain levels that were predicted haven't manifested and I'm sure the dam at the south of the lake is STILL letting out an above normal amount of water ..

But if it makes you all feel better, you can all REPENT NOW , THE END IS NEAR !!

The only place I've seen "fear-mongering" rhetoric around these events has been inside this thread coming from people supposedly upset that this was blown out of proportion. Several of you are blaming the mayor, some even claiming a conspiracy that he's attempting to get attention or hide something else going on. While you are off on your little tangents some of us are just out there trying to be good neighbours and prevent some really crappy situations for people as opposed to worrying about words. I appreciate the discussion, but the answer is directly in-front of you and there are people who could probably use your help!

Worthy of a repeat. Not one single person I've been in contact with has said anything against the Kelowna mayor or have repeated the horrible dire predictions I've seen on these Castanet forums. I suggest getting out there in the real world and off the computer. I'm not as sore as I was yesterday :)
