No doubt about that ..... Just one more car on Enterprise way from any new place will cripple traffic.

Traffic in that area is horrific, this will just add to the frustration.

Ah heck...
Nothing that a few more high-rises, a second lake crossing crossing and a few new cloverleaf interchanges along Hwy 97 from the bridge to the airport can't handle...

It also looks like something is happening across the street by the creek. The traffic is bad enough now, but wait until we add the traffic from these two developments. It might be faster to go over Dilworth than wait to turn left there or the highway or even out to Springfield.

Is that a Kelowna-wide statement?

It's build first and then worry about traffic and parking later.

Perhaps, but do you actually believe that will be the way it is done?
Still a very congested area most of the time.

Re: Hyatt on Enterprise
Looks like they hope people won't use their cars a much. That's the same thinking they have building tower after tower downtown. Hey city council, people dropping 750k and up on a downtown condo aren't going to be taking the bus, no matter how much you want them to, and I doubt the people and tourists living and staying at this location will either.
"We hope they take the bus" is not a city planning strategy.
