They'll ruin the greens on the golf course!
A herd of elk has decided to migrate through a golf course development. Those hooves will just ruin the greens on the golf course and that shouldn't be allowed to happen. Can the developer apply to the province to get an open elk hunting season to clean out this herd? This golf course desperately needs to be protected.

Golf courses are a waste of space.

Doesn't sound like they were on the golf course:
“They are the friendly pack that makes their way up and around the golf course,” she said.

Good Grief!
Golf courses have maintenance crews...so don't fret over wild life.
Although, dealing with wild animals in human form is probably not part their job....

Would you rather see a development of some kind? Maybe a few hundred houses or a big paved parking lot?
At least a Golf Course can be turned back into a Forest or agricultural use.
My Wife asked me if I knew what her favorite flower was?
Apparently "Robin Hood All Purpose" was the wrong answer!

Maybe so, doesn't have to be all paved lol, and as big as these places are it could include small public park areas. Doesn't have to be low income housing, though could include something that could help seniors on tight incomes or whoever.
Plenty of things over time has gone away or has changed with needs and times.

I play golf and would love to see Elk on the course. Nature at work. Plus I would try to get an Elk instead of a Eagle or a birdie

I think a hole-in-one on a par 5 should be known as an Elkatross from now on.

Judging by the final resting place of most of my drives, most of the courses I play are already heavily forested.
