Sure ... make certain that they have even more pressure to do even worse to just survive ...

Everyone keeps talking about how bad it is but don't seem to think about the fact it could be worse ...

China cleaned up their problem by actually getting tough on drug dealers - well it was executing them that did the job & showed all criminals the Government was serious. Does China have a drug epidemic today like Canada's ? Probably not.
The addicts were treated as a health problem & had to take mandatory recovery treatment programs.
Look at this current clown he's 43 years of age & way,way past strike 3 out wandering around selling, but facing a possible 4.5 more. The real truth is that he will never work so the burden of looking after him & all the others is on us. John Howard will have their hand out for years into the future looking after these *bleep*.

Until Canadians get so utterly PO at this gong show destroying our country & demand action nothing is going to change ?

..this morning's crime watch....

Police arrested a 32-year-old man who was wanted on several outstanding warrants for 13 past theft and fraud-related charges. A 31-year-old woman, also wanted on outstanding warrants, and a 25-year-old woman, were also arrested.

All are expected in Kelowna court at a later date.

sounds like they let another couple go free even though one had 13 outstanding warrants, and another an unnamed number of outstanding warrants......what do you think the chances are they will show up for this scheduled hearing?

Catch and release should only be used for fishing.....

good chance they will be walking the streets by tonight to steal again , but they promised the judge they wont [icon_lol2.gif]
i would love to see a new law, any lawyers that want to defend known criminals should be held responsible for there criminal acts while out waiting for there day in court-- because lawyers that defend these guys are no better than they are.

Speaking of stealing: aren't lottery tickets impossible to steal AND get away with it because the seriel codes are all recorded and stolen ones can't be cashed in unless it's done faster than the report?

My take on the drug/China connection is that, like here, only cartels and independents are removed, making room for the drug cartel which is making the best payment to the authorities. That's why the drugs still flow, but we see arrests and convictions at the same time. That's how the MJ trade worked here before legalization. Which may be why JT legalized it.

What is being ignored is the root cause of property crimes-the illegal possesion of meth, crack and opiates.
Instead of enforcing the laws of illegal possession, its encouraged. The byproducts of possession and use of these illegal extremely addictive drugs spurn an incredibly huge industry.
It seems like its all by design.
Nothing happens on a grand scale by chance.
The huge profits created from the zombie haze of society can't be ignored.
I suspect the drug issues of society will level out at an appropriate economic level.
How effed up is that huh.

Mayor Sugarplum - maybe a mayoral conference with some of your leaders from other valley cities might be in order for you to learn a thing or two since you still seem to be in the dark. You see what Penticton's new mayor elect Vassilaki is doing right out of the shoot? He's taking his police force to task on resident's concerns. Novel concept no?

https://www.castanet.net/news/Penticton ... -terrified

De Jager’s assurances that “Penticton is a safe city” came under attack from Mayor John Vassilaki, who said residents he’s heard from don’t feel the same way.

“I can assure you sir, people are terrified in the downtown area and the surrounding residential area as well,” Vassilaki said, asking for police to be more visible in the area.

Sound familiar? Get on it Basran - and by "it" I mean doing what you were elected to do.
Forget Cialis, Viagra, or Levitra. When you need to get it up fast - reach for new and improved Westcorp. Proud official suppliers of Basran's *bleep*
