It seems to have become a fashionable insult by a few idiotic passers-by in the last few years in Canada and the USA while a female reporter is reporting a story or interviewing someone on the street and on camera.

I wish to offer my support to Alanna Kelly of Castanet for her clear, strong and accurate delivery of news stories in her videos.

At the risk of sounding like a sexist male myself; I will also say that Alanna is "not hard on the eyes".

I'm a woman, and I agree that Alanna is attractive; it's not sexist to say so.


It is, however, sexist to make a spectacle like this dufus did. My first impression is that he's a local street person, there will be no consequences for him, he's got no job to lose, no pride, and no honour.
