Very good point!
They were staying open 7 days a week and selling
things at 50% off and then having other 2nd hand
stores take some of their stuff because they had
a deadline to be out of there.
They probably would have liked the chance to
stay there a little longer and make more money
for their cause.
Like maybe they could of stayed there until the spring.
Especially with all the [email protected] (literally) they had to put
up with from IFTC.
Can't wait till the losers are gone.

Any news? Are they getting yet another extension? I believe the last extension they got was until Dec. 31. At this point I feel like they will just let them stay.

Crews have been busy dismantling the surrounding buildings in the complex for a couple weeks now. The building housing IFC may soon be the only one standing on the property. Hard to imagine that the owner will put his project on hold much longer especially for a group who he now wants out even more than the neighborhood does.

I'd say IFTC will be given another extension to remain until the end of March & then their lease will get reviewed again & again or until the shelter on Agassiz Rd. has been built so there is a place to house these people ?

Only a few of them will be placed into Aggaziz Rd complex as the waiting lists for these places are quite long.

Everybody complains about "these people". Yes, they're a problem. What's your solution?

There have been lots of good suggestions put forth regarding the homeless on this forum page in the past 3 months.

Saying new previously unheard of catchy phrases such as - low barrier or wet facility to cover up the actual fact that illegal drugs will be used in a shelter is not being open & honest & has caused problems like we see for Agassiz Rd. area residents.

Wasn't the lease for IFTC finished at midnight ? I drove by at 1:30 am & saw 3 people who appeared to be leaving do you think maybe they were just going to work ?

I was down by Leon this morning at 10:00 am. It looks like a scum-hole. Garbage all over the place, shopping carts, and filthy people all over.
Business as usual.

Can anyone verify if IFTC is/isn’t providing services to clients as of today?
