I thought the business was out by Sunrype? Considered the "north end" by Gordon Avenue.

End of Gordon beside Glenmore Millwork. Not what one would consider "downtown".

They are located directly beside Zangbell & Gill who have never had an issue there. Leads me to believe this was targeted. Raising 5k for a beloved local coffee shop that supplied your coffee for so many years at the market, lost a laptop and tablet that is probably equal to 3k (never mind the time it takes to set those devices up and try and recover lost files), plus sales lost from closure and you cranks are complaining? That's the equivalent of 5,000 customers spending a $1 to help get them up and running again... not a big deal. And the automatic crank reply here blaming this on either the homeless or "junkies" is laughable. Also, calling for more policing which will end up increasing your taxes that you'll inevitably all complain about like you did a few months ago is equally hilarious. [icon_lol2.gif]

As I personally see it, the downtown area.
Harvey to the south to Clement in the north and Richter to the east, with Lake to the west.

Keep going east to Gordon. That's outside your "range". None of you go north of Harvey, west of Gordon do you? No wonder you think the apocalypse is happening outside of the burbs.

I haven't stopped at coffee shop in at least decade plus, if & when I want coffee I make my own.

I think a possible mistaken assumption that was made was based on the word “Laurel” with most automatically associating it with the Laurel Packinghouse beside Prospera and Rotary Art Center and hence the assumption it was “downtown”.
