Soon BC will be like WA State, where you see giant billboards for pot shops all over the place and along every highway.

There are still going to be people who think, "because I can legally buy it BC and legally buy it in WA, I can take it over the border." They will have their goods confiscated and get fines, this type of thinking will be a large source of income for the governments. Because people will not get it through their heads at any point.

Days of having headlines like this will seem quaint, antiquidated even. Like installing a rotary phone in your house again.

My thoughts are that BIG POT is scrambling to find a way to keep the little operator out.

And my other thought is that the only true legit way to use MJ is medical. Like people who would never shoot up don't think about the base for their over-the-counter pain killers. The poppy.

Having said all this, I can honestly say I don't use and no opening or closing of a pot store will ever affect the non-users.
Here I thought there was nothing lower than a snakes belly in a rut in a ditch. I was wrong.

Ah, the Indians have it figured out, Pot Shops, Casino's, cheap smokes,
unlimited wild game harvest

Kinda refreshing really, quite a concept, get to do as you want, on your
own land, no permits, no taxation..

It opened today

https://www.castanet.net/news/Kelowna/2 ... -shop-open

Line-ups around the block, flaggers controlling traffic in the area, cops pulling people over at random, politicians doing photo-ops and ribbon cutting :panic:

I can’t find a way to contact them. Have been after CBD since they closed down the illegals here in West Kelowna. It’s double the price on the government site, big surprise. It’s a long drive for me if they don’t have what I am after. Surely they will be cheaper then the gov site. Here’s hoping anyway. I REALLY need my CBD back.

Oh madadam......you dont happen to know how much that cost do you? Thanks for even getting that info for me :)). That is actually what I am long for. The gov site selling 30 mg bottles for I think it was $72.00. And was a lower strength.

$120 for the 920 mg bottle, the sales person said for most people its about a 2 month supply. On the label it says - Total CBD 30.69 mg/ml - THC 0.0 mg/ml

Well if that lasts for two months, that’s quite reasonable. I guess I am a bit confused as I thought mg was the strength and ml was the size bottle. Oh I guess it’s 30.69 per ml. Well I guess I will have to make the drive out there myself. Now I know they have it anyway. I am coming from the Westside, and have no idea where this place is. I am not familiar with Lake Country. Can I ask one more favour lol. How do I get there? You have been most helpful, thank you so much.

No problem, head to Winfield turn right at Commonwealth Road (where you head to Holiday Park Resort), last set of lights before you enter Winfield. holiday Park resort has a boat on the corner advertising the resort.

Thank you very much :)). I turn left on Commonwealth, I thought holiday park resort was on the right coming from Kelowna? And from your map it is almost immediately on the right as soon as I turn?

No problem at all, glad to have helped. They had lineups yesterday but I was the first one there at 7 am today. They are open 7 am to 9 pm 7 days a week.

Oops, sorry about that, you are correct (corrected the post above) - coming from Kelowna turn right onto Commonweath and then the first left takes you into their parking lot.
