Jailed for touching a child

Jailed for touching a child

A man, ‘transitioning’ to a women, is charged and convicted of sexually touching a girl under 10 years old. The situation would have been more severe except that the transgender plead down the sexual assault charge. What a shining endorsement for the argument that schools should adopt a mixed gender bathroom policy. Sometimes they call it common sense for a reason.

Sure the 'kill them with kindness' PC set will just reply that you can't predict this kind of thing but isn't this exactly what most of you feared in the back of your minds would happen?

There are a hell of a lot more people who are not Transgender touching kids on a daily basis, blaming it on the fact that this person is Trans is an insult to all those hard working tax paying, pension paying Trans people who wouldn't hurt a soul. Just saying :)

Yup. Exactly the response I expected. And to be fair you’re not wrong. But it presents a glaring example to me of the potential issues introduced with mixed gender bathrooms in schools. My opinion.

And now you've you made yourself a glaring example of the paranoia that is gripping this country on a daily basis. Being Conservative used to mean watching your pennies and spending it wisely, now we have a yellow vest movement that wants LGBTQ people banished to an island with a bell around their necks and the right to hang the Prime Minister.
Show me a Trans person who has touched anyone in bathroom in this country and I'll show you ten times as many God fearing, Conservative right wing Christians who've done it more.
Fearing what might be only stifles progress, imagine what the the world could be like if you would gave people who are different than you a chance to shine :)

Your comparison of 1:10 (Trans to right wing Christians) is actually quite laughable considering the ratio of people in each camp. It's no doubt that most transgender people suffer from a number of mental illnesses and have typically had a terrible family life similar to the one in the related article. Honestly, it seems like you're here doing damage control because the article paints this community in a negative light. :topic:

I don't give a damn who or what one considers themselves, no one has any right to sexual touch a minor.
As an adult there had better be consent between both parties before any touching happens.
When you have to start compromising yourself and your morals for the people around you, it’s probably time to change the people around you.

The fact that this is a Trans person should not even be part of the discussion. It's a headline grabber is all.

All types of people are pedophiles straight people, gay people, non binary people, Being a pedophile is not about gender identity and so many people don't get this. Being a pedophile is it's very own thing not dependent on gender identity or homosexuality. In the LGBTQ community it as abhorred as it is in the straight community, and really needs to be routed out and named where ever it is.

Using gender identity as an excuse is wrong, and should never be considered valid, but it's used by lawyers to try to play on the sympathies of the court, using the "confusion" and "hardship" that the perpetrator is going through because of their gender dysphoria as an excuse. IMO there is no excuse for pedophiles of any gender, or any gender identity ... gender dysphoria should never be used as an excuse for pedophiles. (Lawyers stop doing this!)

I think most are willing to concede in the bell around the neck requirements, but I think we’re still pretty firm on the PM thing...

If we’re worried about the safety of our children and want to keep likely culprits away, nevermind gender. It’s time we imposed a “no clergy, no missionaries” rule on any public place children may venture.

Such a rule would not have protected this child, nor countless others.

And abuse, by clergy or otherwise, doesn't typically happen in public places. It happens behind closed doors.
My fervent hope is that you and your tax dollars will be reunited in the afterlife.

Do you mean it's OK for clergy to touch children because it happens behind closed doors ?

Oh yea I forgot "those children" will bounce back ?
