One of the family members recently passed away. I guess that was pause for thought for the rest of the family.

Yeup .....

I liked the "local" thing but if you're renovating or painting , They just couldn't keep up to the big box stores , I guess ..

The death of an institution here because we all need a deal ...

Saving 20 cents on a 5 lb.bag of nails sends people to Home Depot even if they spend 5 bucks on gas to get there .

Sad ..
I payed attention in High school....But not to what they were trying to teach me..

I've already been missing them since they closed down the Ellis store ... it was nice being able to keep the monies local ...

Sad to see a long-time local business close. OK Builders severed customers with hometown honesty and service. Thank you for helping build part of BC.

 I hope those being displaced have the ability to find
a new home.
Many are at an age that makes that a serious challenge.

Several, friends.

Lots going on in the construction industry and lots of building supply businesses looking for qualified help. The good ones will get scooped up pretty quickly.

Heard through people that the relatives were pushing for selling off of assets before the owner even died. Particularly the plot of land right across from One Water Street.

Maybe they noticed the hot real estate market and couldn't wait until they got their piece of the $5,000,000.00.

They made that mess when they were on the way to pour concrete for your house.
