Why should landowners be responsible for dealing with these people or cleaning up whatever they leave behind ? Where were the Bylaw & Police when these camps first got set up ?
We hear a lot of advice from "higher ups" but it's really just passing the buck.

here's what i find a little odd.
in my neck of the woods, in spring and summertime, i have non-emergency police and Bylaws on "speed dial" due to the camps that pop up in my lane (beside a creek).. i have never had a problem getting service from either of the aforementioned. they show up, clean up, and evict (and vacate) said homeless camp.. all it is for me is one or 2 phone calls..
PS: NO, i dont live in a "fancy neighborhood" ..

What ever happened to vagrancy laws?
They used to round those people up, put them in jail, then release them to work in the community.
What is wrong with that?

It's politically incorrect.
