Rescue cat trap stolen....

Thieves steal anything that's not nailed down (and that too, just takes a bit longer).

Amazes me that anyone is surprised when hearing about theft in this lawless :-X town - of anything. Sadly, and probably sooner rather than later, nothing will surprise them anymore either.

Shows that these degenerates will steal anything from anyone. Rich. Poor. Non-profit rescue organizations. They don't care and they know nothing will happen even if they get caught. It's sickening.

So moving someone else's property to their own is not theft? The thieves have now got a new defense when they move something that doesn't belong to them.

Honestly officer, I just moved the neighbour's BBQ here to my property for safe keeping. It was not safe where it was located.

domesticated cat

That had become wild.....out of necessity to survive. If it was a "domesticated" cat, it would have a human caregiver.

well then, respectfully, it needs to be put down

it is not part of the eco system here and probably not able to survive on its own

people are freaking dumb and whomever was responsible for that cat is a piece of *bleep*. I hope we can agree on that

UPDATE: 2:50 p.m.

OHS reports that the trap was recovered.

" The tenants at the property called OHS today at 1:30 p.m. to advise it was discovered still there but tucked away further on the premises by their movers. They apologized for the miscommunication to OHS. The carrier has not been recovered as yet," an update posted to Facebook wrote.

If THAT is the story that you want to believe. Yet, the trap has still not been retrieved.

Cats don't have caregivers, they have staff!
