I don’t think you get it. It’s not about B&E’s, it’s the attitude of the people hanging out on the streets and parking lots. Nobody should have to worry about walking downtown, and yet people are.

Wow, I didn’t realize I was responding to someone’s who’s got “street creds”. I’ll not debate you on this topic any further.

Guess no one else has heard a thing about the forum either except for me.
Truths can be backed up by facts - do you have any?

You should have gone. Get educated on stats rather than cherry-pick percentages and one time incidences like chairs being thrown into a window that don't support discussions on homelessness. Lots of good people were there fwiw.

You're the one that brought up Bliss and I'm more than aware of what goes on downtown - and still nothing about the forum....

Now it has caused extra costs to CoK. What are they going to do about it?

4 business B&E's within a month's period seems pretty high. Keep in mind weather has been crappy too.
For context, that map shows that there were 18 - EIGHTEEN! - outside of downtown within the same time frame.

Within a few days, lets see who they catch. Guarantee you that this was a job done slick. Where do you put money stolen from 300 parking metres? Also, it's very probable that your burbs are bringing pretty criminals like this to downtown. Also, nice joke.

I can picture it now – "junkies" as you call them with their pockets bulging, with bags of change lining the sidewalk in plain sight just hanging out on Leon from their rewards after ripping off 300 parking meters in two nights. You're a fool if you think that. You don't believe this was coordinated? "Hey Bob, I have an idea, lets pop open all the meters - as many as we can with a screwdriver we found - and grab all the change we can get. We'll figure out where to put it all later."
