As horrible and sad it is that a teen died as a result of a stabbing downtown, it doesn't relate to this thread. There is a statement in the story that the stabbing was a result of a dispute between the youth and someone who knew him. This youth was not homeless.

Seen people spend upwards of 1500 a day. Do the math thats half mil a year. We as a province can not afford to subsidize these habits.

This stabbing and subsequent death could have happened in any neighborhood in/or around Kelowna.

Haven’t seen mention of drugs, however just seeing on a twitter feed that he’d apparently been living on the streets for awhile after being kicked out of the house for not following rules and not attending school. Sad.

How do you know the dispute wasn’t about drugs, or that the murderer wasn’t on drugs?
