The location might be terrible but one thing is forsure - the local gas cartel can suck it.

Cheaper prices are coming.

A few years ago the rumour was an IKEA Pick-up Point, but Ikea no longer has those. That said, Burlington On. has a population of 189,000 and an IKEA, so break out the Blue and Yellow because the future looks filled with Swedish meatballs and Poäng armchairs.

How about an Amazon warehouse. Then I really would get my stuff in 2 days.

^^^If it was an Amazon warehouse you could get your stuff the same day. Depending on what the rugrat orders he can have the items delivered in 4-5 hours.

An Amazon warehouse also doesn't bring in outside visitors to spend additional money at Torched Park Shopping Centre, and the new Costco. It's important to keep drawing in the non-locals. :smt045

Any word on a time schedule when work may start on the site? Or perhaps several more months of City of Kelowna with more red tape and slow decisions.

Will the new Costco, whenever it is built really matter much?
Will it affect the price of their hot dogs or the gas prices in Kelowna?
Not much.
Compare the new location with the one in Kamloops.
Another horrendous example of Kelowna planning.
That is the real issue.

For anyone who hasn't been to Costco lately, the Kelowna store had several self checkouts installed last week. It's great.
